I specialize in fantasy, horror, and LGBTQ+ fiction, working across YA, adult, and literary audiences.

I'm drawn to character-driven novels, weird fiction, stories where the setting comes alive, and fiction that engages with the social, political, or ecological questions of our time.

My Author-Editor Philosophy

The publishing industry can be elitist and capitalist, and that doesn't serve most authors well. My practice is grounded in trying to do things differently:

Human creativity rules—no generative AI in my writing and editing workflows
Good writing is a skill, not a fixed talent to unearth in the chosen few
Stories, like people, are social and live in ecosystems
Words and tropes can cause harm, and so we should choose them carefully
